Dr. Bey on the lecture circuit
Dr. Garry L. Bey lectures nationally and internationally on single-visit endodontics on both vital and non-vital teeth. His course covers endodontic diagnosis, quick and effective anesthesia, creating a glide path, managing curved and calcified canals, advanced nickel-titanium rotary instrumentation, apical negative-pressure irrigation and 3D obturation — practical methods for treating straightforward and complex cases safely and efficiently.
He has lectured at the Greater New York Dental Meeting (including live patient demonstrations), the Chicago Midwinter Meeting, the International Dental Show in Cologne and universities in Australia, Egypt and New York. Read more about his teaching.
Single-visit endodontics — on vital and non-vital teeth
A survey found that only about 1 in 6 dentists treat non-vital cases in one appointment. Dr. Bey teaches an evidence-based technique for completing root canals in a single visit — on both infected and non-infected teeth — with greater success and a higher standard of patient care than a multi-visit procedure: less post-operative pain, fewer emergency visits and greater patient satisfaction. The technique can be learned quickly and performed by most general dentists.
With the growing attention on the link between oral and systemic health, one-visit endodontics offers patients a healthier way to keep their natural teeth — and practices a way to treat more complex cases faster and more safely.
